  Excellent diving resort - I couldn’t fault Quo Vadis dive centre - reasonably priced, lovely staff members, we had a dive master to ourselves, we did a refresher and 2 dives which were excellent.... read more The dive centre was very centred on health and safety and it was the most thorough experience I’ve ever had.

The room left a little to be desired, we stayed in one of the garden view rooms, but we knew it would be basic, it met all needs for a great value. The shower pressure was pretty poor though.

Restaurant was okay, would recommend walking along to the main strip where there are lots of restaurants and bars, which are all great value.

Organised transportation to and from the airport which was seamless and well organised.

The diving center just next to the hotel is really perfect as well, I did 4 dives and was perfectly done.

You can have access to several bars & restaurants just walking a couple of minutes around the resort and the beach in front of the resort is quiet compare to other places.

Clearly obvious... read more that the dive shop staff are well treated and, in turn, are very nice to their clients. I had a single dive master over three days who was just superb. A real example of less is more in terms of energy / air expenditure and I learned quite alot. Diving itself is 100% walls with mild currents, some interesting overhangs, caves and soft corals. For example, we saw a 3ft green sea turtle resting in a cave, giant frog fish and swarms of sardines.

Food is best taken at other restaurants, which are nearby and provide some diversions. Transportation to/from CEB airport was arranged and straightforward.

  One of the best, most convenient, and most cost effective places to get your Open Water certification! The location is right on the water and the diving school is located... read more within the resort. There are tons of cool dive sites nearby. ASK FOR GAUTIER (aka Gucci) as your instructor! He speaks English and French and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about diving. After we covered the required skills for each lesson he would always ensure we had a fun dive for the remainder of the time. He went out of the way to find interesting things to look at and educate us about diving best practices. In the beginning there were many things I struggled with, such as buoyancy, but Gucci is a buoyancy master! By the end of the Open water course we were having so much fun we decided to get our Advanced Open Water as well and did some really cool dives such as Night Dives and Deep Dives. I always felt safe and up to adventure because I knew I could trust Gucci to be an utmost professional and put our safety above all else. John and the other instructors at the resort were also very kind and accommodating to us, working around our schedule so we could complete the Advanced Open Water in a short period of time. I can't wait to go back to Quo Vadis and get my Rescue Diver certification! More

Our... read more dive guide Gucci/Gautier was absolutely phenomenal- he was so kind & patient throughout our training and he has a true passion for diving! We had such a great time learning from him that we ended up extending our dive training into getting our Advanced Open Water Dive certification. Not only was Gucci/Gautier an amazing instructor, the entire dive & boat staff were so kind, welcoming, and fun! My friend and I can’t thank the dive team enough for the wonderful experience, and HIGHLY recommend dive training with Gucci!

The resort is attractive, manicured garden and immaculate pool, everything has been looked after and the resort took covid cleaning seriously.

The only reason I can't rate it higher would be the restaurant, where the breakfast in particular felt basic and not up to the standard of the rest of the resort.

  The aircon at their most expensive room (Premier Suite) is not strong enough. We closed all the doors and windows and left the aircon running the entire afternoon. When we... read more came back, the room was still not cold enough. One could still comfortably sleep at that room at night without using a blanket.

We ate at their restaurant three times. The food was just okay, nothing remarkable. The staff were helpful and seemed dedicated and grateful for their jobs.

We enjoyed swimming at the pool at night because the water was lukewarm and we had the whole pool to ourselves. The best part of our stay was the balcony at the Premier Suite.

When I first tried booking a room, I called their number after 8pm and a security guard answered the phone. He said there's usually no one at the front desk past 8pm which I thought was odd for a resort. He said he'll contact the manager and he'll just contact me. I was never contacted. So I just booked online instead.

When we got to Moalboal, I completely understood the lack of staff manning the front desk at the resort at night. There were very few guests due to the pandemic. A lot of resorts and businesses at Moalboal were closed. More

Very friendly and attentive staff. Swimming pool was very good for relaxing. Well worth a stay. Only complaint was I couldn't stay longer. Will go back with family once this craziness is over. It’s almost certainly the nicest hotel along that strip/area, by a lot. The grounds are lovely, with a pool, awesome location, amazing snorkeling out front, great facilities with a dive center, restaurant, pool, lounge chairs, direct water access, and sea view from our room. We were so glad we chose to stay here. Also the snorkeling out front of the hotel was fabulous -- saw tons of turtles, and also swam over to the sardine run, which was a really unique experience. Service was great too, and we enjoyed many meals in the restaurant overlooking the water. We also made friends with a resident doggie on premises, who would sometimes wait outside our room for us in the morning. It was adorable. An excellent stay all-around. More
